The Mind Body Connection
The Mind-Body Connection
If you can bring more raw live plant based foods into your system, you are going to have elevated thought forms. You are what you eat is a quantum phenomenon. It affects us on the level of quantum physics. Our science has guided us from this very Newtonian kind of mathematical reality to quantum physics: Which, basically says; hey we are mostly empty space, water and oxygen, but we are mostly an energy field. That energy field is influenced by energies that we interact with, but primarily by energies we put inside our body. What an incredible metaphor. Purity is its own reward.[i]
Thought is energy. Our mind needs fuel to create energy. Our mind is made up of cells and our thoughts are directly impacted by the food-chemicals we eat, which we should focus on first and foremost. Trying to fix the mental thought pattern by psychology before fixing the chemicals put into the body is backwards. Food is a chemical and our body reacts in different ways to those chemicals. Our minds cannot overcome starvation to the point of death, our minds cannot overcome deadly poison, and our minds definitely react to depressants we put into our body as well as hyperactive chemicals, such as sugar and caffeine.
Did you ever notice that if you eat flour or sugar before bedtime, your brain will race, and you will possibly have nightmares? When we consume alcohol, it is a direct depressant, as is coffee, after the caffeine spike. Animal products coagulate, clog, and slow the blood flow, and therefore our energy lags behind. Our mental thoughts are directly reflected to our cellular health, and our cells need to be strong in order for us to think positively.
Thinking positively is much easier when you have positively charged, super healthy nutrients to help form your chemical make-up in your brain. Once the chemical make-up has been altered, then you will have an easier time not focusing on depressing thoughts. Your mind needs to kick into action first to tell you what healthy brain foods to eat or buy. A well-tuned mind is best when you have a great healthy body to carry it through life.
In a perfect world, we would eat food fresh from the bush, plant, tree, or root when it has the highest nutrient and energy content to nourish our bodies and brains. Food that is connected to the “source” of the earth and sun is always best. In a world where we ship food, and we eat in restaurants that ship food and store food, that is not always possible.
There is a mysterious link between brain biochemistry and consciousness. Linus Pauling, the only man to win two Nobel Prizes (one for biochemistry and one for peace) established the Center for Orthomolecular Research. His research on natural vitamin C established fruit as the best source of vitamin C. Pauling discovered that natural vitamin C speeds the flow of thoughts across the brain's electrical synapses. (It is also the body's bouncer, escorting toxins and free radicals out of the body.) Vegetarians report that the senses are more acute when there is less animal fat shrouding the nerves.[ii]
